Welcome to my site!
I'm lucky enough to be able to play with some of the best musicians you'll
find. I also teach
both privately and at Columbia
College in downtown Chicago. Be sure and check the upcoming dates;
November will be a fun month for music, so please come out and see us
if you can!
There have been some much-needed content updates, and more (and larger)
updates are coming in the near future. I've been busy recording
some new music this year with a few different artists.
Some exciting news: I've gotten a full-fledged Pro Tools recording
setup this year. I've been learning how to record my own drums
and have been recording and mixing drum tracks in my studio for various
other people around the Chicago area in hopes to expand my client base
for doing "remote studio tracks", which is something many studio
musicians are doing these days. I'm fully enabled for doing
remote tracks now and will be adding a page with more information on it
very soon. Any interested parties, please feel free to contact me in the
meantime.
I recently had the opportunity to play with one of the most legendary
guitarists in jazz, Pat Martino. An amazing experience!
He's an incredible musician and a wonderful person.
I've also been getting into the fine art of drum building. I've
built and finished a few drums this year, and I've also procured a few
others--including a couple extreme rarities. Pictures of these
will be added to my gear page, which is in the process of being
overhauled. Thanks for your patience...I know we drummers are
gear freaks!
